ORAL ORDER
1. Petitioners are before this Court under Article 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India seeking for the following reliefs:-
a. Issue a writ of certiorari quashing the Impugned notification /Rejection List dated 5.11.2025 issued by the respondent no.2 vide No.RUR/BOA/RCT/ADVT/02/01 at Annexure-H, as illegal and arbitrary, in the interest of justice.
b. Issue a writ of Certiorari quashing the Impugned
notification / Rejection List dated 16.08.2024
issued by the Respondent No.2 vide
No.RUR/BOA/RCT/ADVT/02- at Annexure-F as
illegal and arbitrary, in the interest of justice. c. Issue a writ of Mandamus directing Respondent No.1 and Respondent No.2 to consider the petitioners' applications submitted through KEA for the post of Assistant Professor and allow them to -4- NC: 2026:KHC-K:2764 WP No. 203931 of 2025 HC-KAR participate in interview to be held in purchase of the notification vide Annexure-H, in the interest of justice.
d. Pass such other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interests of justice".
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.
3. Petitioners had applied to the post of Assistant Professor in response to the notification issued by the respondent - University. It appears that though the petitioners have scored good marks in the qualifying examination that was held by respondent no.3, the application of the petitioners was rejected by the university on the ground that they had not submitted the mandatory document along with their application though they had applied to the post through respondent no.3.
It is under these circumstances, the petitioners have approached this Court seeking the aforesaid reliefs.

This Court on 17.12.2025, after hearing all the parties had rejected the interim prayer of the petitioners and therefore, the petitioners had filed W.A.No.200007 of 2026 before the Division Bench of this Court assailing the order dated -5- NC: 2026:KHC-K:2764 WP No. 203931 of 2025 HC-KAR 17.12.2025 passed in this writ petition. The Division Bench of this Court had disposed of W.A.No.200007 of 2026 permitting the petitioners to submit all the documents before the respondent - University and on the strength of the said order passed by the Division Bench of this Court, the petitioners are said to have submitted all their documents before the respondent - University. Under these circumstances, the relief sought for in this writ petition will not survive for consideration.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as rendered infructuous.
