ORAL ORDER
Sri.Vijaykumar B.Horatti., counsel for the petitioner and Smt.Mala B.Bhute., AGA for respondents 1 to 4 have appeared in person.
2. The Writ Petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:
"a) to issue writ in the nature of certiorari by quashing the impugned order dated 23.07.2025 bearing No. RTS/AP/SR/67/2018 passed by Respondent No.3 produced vide Annexure-G.
b) to issue writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No.4 to enter the name of the Petitioner in the Revenue Records of Sy.No.19/3 to the extent of 4 guntas of land situated at Arolli, Honnavar.
c) to pass any other order, direction as deemed fit in the circumstances of the case."
3. The order dated 23.07.2025 passed by respondent No.3 - Assistant Commissioner is called into question in this Writ Petition on several grounds as set out in the Memorandum of Writ Petition.
4. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care.

5. As there is a alternate statutory remedy. Hence, I decline to exercise power under writ jurisdiction. The petitioner may agitate his grievance before the appropriate forum, if so advised and if the law permits.
6. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Office is directed to return all the original documents to the petitioner by replacing the same with Xerox copies.
