ORAL ORDER
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 to
4.
2. Notice to respondent No.5 is not served. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is no such office of respondent No.5 and he is unable to serve notice.
3. Be that as it may, the grievance of petitioners is that they were initially appointed as Teachers in respondent No.5-institution in the name and style of 'Ganga High School', Gor Chincholi, Taluk: Bhalki, District:
Bidar. They were appointed on different dates. They were regularized in the year 2008. Respondent No.5-Institution is a Government-aided institution by order dated 05.07.2014.
4. This being the state of affairs, respondent No.5 refused to pay the salary to these petitioners. Petitioners -4- NC: 2026:KHC-K:1106 WP No. 200321 of 2026 HC-KAR made a representation before the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Bidar, requesting to take action for payment of salary of the staff. It is the grievance of petitioners that their salary is not paid from the year 2015 to 2021 totally 55 months and neither their representations so made by them on 21.11.2025 is also considered. Hence, they are perforced to approach this Court.
5. Learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondent-State submits that he has to take instructions on whether salary is paid or any amount is pending. He also makes a submission that there is no such Education Society or School exists in the address which is given in this petition.
6. Considering the circumstances of the case, it becomes expedient for this Court to address the grievance of the teachers, who belong to a noble profession and impart education to students, who in turn constitute the future of this society and the nation. -5-

7. The least the State Government can do is to address their grievance or give a reply or pay the amount of salary for the period not paid to that extent of their liability by answering the representation given by the petitioners.
8. Under the circumstances, since this petition is filed to consider the representation, I deem it appropriate to allow this petition.
9. Accordingly, I pass the following:
ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed.
ii. Writ of mandamus is issued directing the respondent-State to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 21.11.2025 and pass suitable orders in accordance to law and if any amount is already paid, to say so, by way of reply to the petitioners and the representations shall be considered within a period of four -6- NC: 2026:KHC-K:1106 WP No. 200321 of 2026 HC-KAR weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
