This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of Sections 482 and 484 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 apprehending his arrest for the offences under Sections 498A of IPC in connection with Complaint Case No.1132 of 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sahibganj.
3. In a complaint case, there is no scope of investigating, far less custodial interrogation. Thus, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Trial Court in terms of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Satender Kumar Antil vs. Central Bureau of Investigation & Another, reported in 2022 (10) SCC 51.
4. Accordingly, the instant anticipatory bail application stands disposed of.
