For the Petitioner(s) : Md. Zaid Ahmed, Advocate For the State : Mr. Rajesh Kumar, AddI. P.P. .........

08/ 18.06.2025: Heard, learned counsel for the parties.

2. This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of Sections 482 and 484 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 apprehending his arrest for the offences under Section 11(1)(a), (c), (d), (e), (h), (i), (k) & 38(3) Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 Section 47, 48, 49, 50, 52, 54 & 56(c) of Transportation of Cattle Rules, 1978 and Sections ¾, 4(a), 4(b), 5, 12 & 13 of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal (Prohibition of Slaughter) Act in connection with Complaint Case No.4226 of 2025, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad.

3. Admittedly, this case is instituted on the basis of the complaint where cognizance has been taken and the petitioner has been summoned. The petitioner after receiving summon, rushed to this Court seeking anticipatory bail.

4. The circumstances stated above clearly suggest that the case falls in the category- A of the offence as categorized in the judgment passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Satender Kumar Antil vs. Central Bureau of Investigation & Another, reported in (2021) 10 SCC

773.

5. Petitioner should appear before the Court concerned and the Court will pass an appropriate order in terms of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

6. Accordingly, the instant anticipatory bail application stands disposed of.
