ORDER
It is being contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the disputes and differences where under the FIR in question had arisen and consequent challan filed before the Court below have been settled amicably by the petitioner and the respondent No. 2 herein and a memo of compromise is stated to have been executed being part of the record of the petition.
Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks settlement/disposal of the petition in the light of the judgment of the Apex Court in case titled as, "Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and another" reported in 2012 (10) SCC 303.
The aforesaid position is not being controverted by the counsel for respondent No. 2.
In view of the aforesaid position, let the parties appear before the Registrar Judicial of this Court on 18.05.2022 for recording of their statements in support of the compromise claimed to have been arrived at.
