Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the case at hand is squarely covered by the judgment rendered by this Court, in CWP No.2004 of 2017 titled Taj Mohammad and others vs. The State of Himachal Pradesh and others along-with connected matter, on 03.08.2023.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that benefits, in view of the aforesaid judgment, have been extended to the similarly situate persons by the respondents/State.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners also submits that with respect to the grievances being raised in the present petition, the petitioners have made an appropriate representation dated 21.03.2024 to the respondents/concerned 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes ::: Downloaded on - 13/09/2024 20:34:15 :::CIS 2 ( 2024:HHC:8510 ) quarters. The same is appended along with the present petition as Annexure P-4.
4. In view of above, learned Additional Advocate General submits that .
the representation so made by the petitioners shall be decided within a period of eight weeks from today.
5. In view of above terms, present petition stands disposed of, so also, pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
