Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Petitioner is presently serving as Lecturer (History). His case is that he had furnished a representation to the respondents on 23.10.2024 to transfer him from his present place of posting, i.e. GSSS Haripur Khol, District Sirmour to a particular station of his choice on the ground that his mother was suffering from Disk problem and other old-aged related ailments, but the said representation has not been decided. Petitioner seeks following substantive reliefs:-
"a). A writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued thereby directing the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner annexure P-2.
Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes -2-
b) That the respondent may be restrained to post any Lecturer History in GSSS Kotri Bias Distt Sirmour till the decision on the representation of the petitioner."
2. The petition discloses that petitioner was transferred at the present place of posting only on 31.07.2024. Circumstances pointed out by the petitioner cannot be said to be extra-ordinary requiring interference by this Court. No case is made out for granting the reliefs prayed for by the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
