CMP No. 15723 of 2022 By way of instant application, permission has been sought on behalf of the applicants/appellants to deposit enhanced amount of compensation. Averments made in the application reveal that though in terms of judgment dated 9.12.2019 passed by this court, in RFA No. 310 of 2018, alongwith other connected matters, enhanced amount was required to be deposited by the appellants, but since needful could not be done within the time stipulated, prayer has been made on behalf of the appellants, for extension of time to deposit the enhanced amount.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and further two weeks' time, as prayed is granted to the appellants to deposit enhanced amount of compensation. In the event of receipt of amount within the time stipulated by this court, Registry shall invest the same in FDR's, till further orders.

At this stage, Mr. Rupinder Singh Thakur, Advocate, stated that full amount of compensation is not being deposited by the appellants, as such, they may be directed to furnish calculations, if any, made with regard to enhanced amount of compensation, so that shortfall if any, is also ordered to be deposited.

In view of above, appellants are directed to provide the calculations, as prayed for above to Mr. Rupinder Singh Thakur, Advocate. Application stands disposed of.
