1. The present application has been preferred for seeking condonation of delay of 161 days caused in preferring the appeal against the impugned judgment and award.
2. Heard learned advocate for the applicant.
3. Learned advocate for the applicant submitted that the delay of 161 days occasioned in preferring the appeal owing to the reasons that the applicant could not obtain the certified copy of the impugned judgment and award within a time and further he could not find the advocate to prefer the appeal. Therefore, the sufficient time has been wasted in obtaining the certified copy. Having considered the submissions of the learned advocate for the applicant and having regard to the ground for delay pressed into service for condoning the delay, I am of the considered view that the delay has been sufficiently explained and the same deserves to be condoned. Accordingly, the delay is condoned. No order as to costs.
