ORAL ORDER
[1] By the present Special Civil Application, the petitioners are praying for a direction to the respondents to serve a copy of the final order in respect of the scrutiny of the caste certificates of the petitioners on their email ID and WhatsApp numbers as expeditiously as possible from the date of rendering such judgment. It is further prayed that the appointing authority may grant them 15 days' time to approach the higher forum in case of cancellation of the caste certificate by the Caste Scrutiny Committee.
[2] Ms. Dharitri Pancholi, learned Assistant Government Pleader, upon instructions from respondent No.2, namely Ms. Kalpana Gadhvi, Joint Commissioner, Scrutiny Committee-2, Gandhinagar, who is present before the Court, submits that Page 1 of 2 Uploaded by DHARMENDRA KUMAR(HC01071) on Wed Nov 19 2025 Downloaded on : Thu Nov 20 00:52:05 IST 2025 NEUTRAL CITATION C/SCA/14729/2025 ORDER DATED: 18/11/2025 undefined respondent No.2 Committee has already adopted the practice, since May 2025, of communicating the final order passed in the cases of the candidates whose caste certificates have been referred for scrutiny via email ID as well as WhatsApp number which is provided by the candidates. The learned Assistant Government Pleader further submits that If the petitioners have provided their email ID as well as his WhatsApp number to the Caste Scrutiny Committee, the final order shall be communicated to the petitioners by these two modes as prayed for.
[3] In view of the said statement, the prayer 9.B. as prayed for by the petitioners stands satisfied.
[4] In respect of prayer 9.C., the prayer is made in anticipation of the outcome of the caste scrutiny proceedings and the same cannot be granted at this stage.
[5] With the aforesaid observations, the Special Civil Application stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
