Mr. Ankitkumar Arvindbhai Shah - petitioner was mentioned as witness No.16 in chragesheet filed against main accused. Learned Addl. Public Prosecutor placed on record counter report of the investigating officer. He has further tendered judgment passed in Criminal Case No.3564 of 2016, which is recorded acquittal of the main accused. Looking to the report tendered by the investigating officer and judgment placed on record, the present petition does not survive.

In view of the above, Mr. D. J. Bhatt learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, upon instruction, seeks permission to not press present petition. The petition stands disposed of as not pressed. Rule discharged, interim relief, if any, granted earlier stands vacated forthwith.
