1. The applicant-Union of India has prayed to condone the delay of 45 days in preferring the appeal against the judgment and order passed by the learned Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Court No.3, City Civil & Sessions Court, Ahmedabad City in N.D.P.S. Case No.01 of 2020 dated 10.07.2024.
2. 3. Though served, none appears on behalf of respondent No.2.

Having heard learned counsel for the applicant and in view of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that sufficient cause has been shown by the applicant for condoning the delay. Hence, the application is allowed and the delay of 45 days in preferring the appeal is hereby condoned. Rule is made absolute. The appeal be listed in due course.
