ORAL ORDER
Learned APP upon instructions submits that pending the petition, the petitioner has also submitted a fresh application for remission which has been processed by the respondent authorities and shall be decided in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
It is expected from the respondent authorities that they would adhere to the directions issued by the Hon'ble Apex Court in its judgment in case of Nawas @ Mulanavas Vs. State of Kerala reported in 2024 INSC 215. With these observations, the present petition is disposed of.
The concerned authority shall decide the application filed by the petitioner within periods of Eight weeks from the date of receipts of this order.
