                            ORAL ORDER

It is jointly submitted by the learned advocate for the parties that in the present case, the respondent workman has since expired. As per the Impugned judgment and award dated 09.08.2007, the respondent workman was reinstated in service. The learned Labour Court, Vadodara had also granted full back wages along with the reinstatement and continuity in service. After the death of the respondent workman, the petitioner Company gave a settlement proposal to the family of the respondent workman.

Mr.Subramniam Iyer, learned advocate for the respondent workman submits that family of the respondent workman has accepted the settlement. As per the settlement, the petitioner Company is to pay lum sum amount of Rs.1,25,000/- towards back wages. The said settlement is accepted by both the parties.

C/SCA/2201/2008 ORDER DATED: 15/03/2023 In view thereof, it is directed that the petitioner shall pay an amount of Rs.1,25,000/- to the Family of the respondent workman within a period of three weeks from today.

In view of the settlement, the present Special Civil Application stands disposed of accordingly.
