                                   ORAL ORDER

Considering that the first furlough leave application of the applicant is pending consideration of the Additional Director General of Police, Gujarat State, and further considering that the applicant who is convicted for offence punishable under Section 302 of the IPC, and sentenced to life imprisonment very recently i.e. vide judgment dated 18.10.2022, hence the I.G. (Prison) is directed to consider the furlough leave application of the applicant within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

It is clarified that in case the applicant is aggrieved by the order of the I.G. (Prison), then he may chose to file an application against the said order as well as file a fresh application for grant of parole leave.

With the above observations and direction, the present application stands disposed of.
