23.10.2024 Heard Mr. S.K. Goswami, learned counsel for the appellant. Also heard Mr. D. Mondal, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 1 to 4/claimants.

This is an appeal under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 against the judgment and award dated 21.06.2024, passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Page No.# 3/3 Claims Tribunal No.1, Kamrup(M) at Guwahati in MAC Case No. 2144/2017.

Admit the appeal.

Issue notice to the respondent nos. 5 and 6, returnable within 4(four) weeks. Since, the learned counsel for the respondent nos. 1 to 4 are duly represented by Mr. D. Mondal, no formal notice need to be served. The appellant is directed to take steps for service of notice upon the respondent nos. 5 and 6 by registered post with A/D within 7(seven) days from today.
