12.11.2022 This is an appeal filed by the appellants against the Judgment and Order dated 18.08.2018, passed by the learned Member, MACT, Hailakandi, Assam in M.A.C. Case No. 01/2017.
The appellant is represented by Mr. M. Talukdar.
The claimant is present in person.
The parties have mutually come to a settlement of full and final amount of Rs. 4,85,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs and Eighty-Five Thousand) out of which Rs. 2, 85, 000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Eighty-Five Thousand) was earlier deposited before the learned Member, MACT, Hailakandi. The Insurance Company is accordingly required to deposit the balance amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs) within a period of 45 days from today before the learned Member, MACT, Hailakandi.
Learned counsel for the claimant has affixed his signature on the petition on behalf of the claimant and the claimant was present through video- conferencing.
Page No.# 3/3 The said amount would be released to the claimant on being properly identified by the learned counsel for the claimant.
A memo of settlement is made a part of the record.
The MAC appeal stands disposed of.
