25.07.2022 Heard Mr. D.K. Baidya, learned counsel for the appellant. Also heard Ms. S.H. Bora, learned Addl. P.P., Assam for the State/respondent No. 1.

By this appeal under Section 374(2) Cr.P.C., the appellant has prayed for setting aside the impugned judgment and order, dated 19.04.2022, passed by the learned Page No.# 2/2 Addl. Sessions Judge cum Special Judge (POCSO Act), Barpeta in Special POCSO Case No. 150/2021 convicting and sentencing the appellant under Section 10 of the POCSO Act.

As Ms. S.H. Bora, learned Addl. P.P., accepts notice on behalf of the State/respondent No.1, no fresh notice needs to be issued to the said respondent. However, a copy of the petition along with the documents annexed thereto, be furnished to her during the course of the day.

Issue notice to the respondent No.2. Steps be taken by registered post with A/D within 5(five) days.
