01.08.2022 Heard Ms. P. Das, learned counsel for the appellant as well as Mr. Bhaskar Page No.# 2/2 Sarma, learned APP for the State.

This criminal appeal is preferred by the appellant under section 374(2) Cr.P.C. against the judgment and order dated 21.06.2022 passed in Sessions Case No.36/2021 by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu.

The appeal is admitted for hearing.

Call for the LCR.

Issue notice returnable on 12.09.2022.

No formal steps is required to be taken in respect of the respondent no.1 as the State is represented by the learned APP. The appellant shall take steps within 2(two) days for service of notice on the respondent no.2 by registered post with A/D as well as by usual process as per Gauhati High Court Rules with suitable modification to the form.
