02-03-2021 This Jail appeal is preferred against the Judgment and Order dated 24.02.2020 passed by the learned Addl. Session Judge, Kamrup, Rangia in Session Case No. 16/2018, convicting the accused-appellant under section 294/326A of the IPC and sentenced to undergo S.I. for 10(ten) years under Section 326A IPC and fine of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand), in default S.I. for one year. The accused is further sentenced to undergo S.I. for 3(three) months under Section 294 IPC.
Page No.# 2/2 The appeal is admitted for hearing.
Issue notice to the respondent no. 2. Registry will take steps for service of notice upon the informant within 10(ten) days.
Ms. Bijita Sarma, learned counsel is appointed as Amicus Curiae to assist the Court.
