03.06.2021 Heard Mr. R. Ali, learned counsel for the applicant as well as Mr. D. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
Issue Notice on the respondent no. 2, returnable in four (4) weeks.
This Interlocutory Application has been filed by the applicant seeking suspension of the sentence imposed by the learned Special Judge, Barpeta, whereby vide Judgment dated 03.04.2021, the applicant is sentenced to undergo R.I. for 3 (three) years and to pay fine of Rs. 2000/-, in default of S.I. for 2 (two) months.
The learned counsel for the applicant shall take steps by registered post and by usual course within 3 (three) working days from today.
