1. The facts of this case are similar to those in SSC v Ashish Sharma1.
2. Following the said decision, this writ petition is disposed of by modifying the order passed by the Tribunal. The direction for having the respondent re-examined by a fresh medical board is set aside. However, the petitioners would take a decision as to whether the deformity in the little finger of the left hand of the respondent impedes in any way in functioning as a Constable in the Delhi Police or renders 1 Judgment dated 14 February 2025 in WP (C) 1910/2025 Signature Not Verified WP(C) 2268/2025 Page 1 of 2 Digitally Signed By:AJIT KUMAR Signing Date:27.02.2025 17:16:48 him unfit for appointment on that ground.
