J U D G M E N T (ORAL)
1. Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek direction thereby quashing FIR No. 0215/2016 dated 27.04.2016, registered at PS Sarojini Nagar and all other proceedings emanating therefrom.
2. Notice issued.
3. Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and counsel for the respondent no.2.
4. With the consent of the counsel for the parties, the present petition is taken up for final disposal.
5. The present petition is filed on the ground that the parties have settled their disputes and the respondent no.2 has no objection if the present petition CRL.M.C. 5229/2019 Page 1 of 3 is allowed.
6. Respondent No. 2 is personally present in Court with learned counsel and he has been identified by SI Hemant/IO and submits that matter has been settled and he does not wish to prosecute the matter any further.
7. The petitioners and respondent no.2 have entered into an amicable settlement vide settlement deed dated 14.01.2019 have settled their disputes amicably.
8. Learned APP has opposed the present petition and submits that if this Court is inclined to quash the FIR, then heavy cost may be imposed upon the petitioners/accused as due to the offences committed, the government machinery came into motion and the precious public time of the Court has been wasted.
9. At this stage, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, on instructions, has come forward and submits that petitioner no.2 (Neeraj Kumar), the then owner of L.K. Group company will contribute an amount of ₹50,000/- towards some welfare purposes.
10. Accordingly, in view of the settlement arrived between the parties, I hereby quash the FIR and direct petitioner no.2 to pay an amount of ₹50,000/- within four weeks.

11. Out of the cost amount, an amount of ₹25,000/- shall be paid in favour of Blind School, Amar Colony, New Delhi; further an amount of ₹15,000/- shall be paid in favour of Deaf and Dumb School, Darya Ganj, New Delhi and remaining amount of ₹10,000/- to be deposited in favour of Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee.
12. It is made clear that if the cost amount is not paid within the time as directed by this Court, the Registrar General of this Court is directed to ensure the recovery of the same as per law.
13. Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash the concerned FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the petitioners any further.
14. For the reasons afore-recorded, the FIR No. 0215/2016 dated 27.04.2016, registered at PS Sarojini Nagar and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
15. The petition is allowed accordingly.
