1. Petitioners are TGT (Science), Peon and Water-Women (Aaya), who claim to be employees of respondent-School. It is the grievance of petitioners that their Representation seeking regularization of House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance (TA) w.e.f. from 1 st April, 2014 stood rejected by DAV College Management Committee vide Communication (Annexure P-13) in November, 2017. Petitioners' counsel claims that they had requested respondent-Directorate of Education for disbursement of HRA, TA arrears and other financial benefits in terms of Sixth Pay Commission vide Representations of 20th December, 2017, 28th December, 2017 followed by Reminder of 6th January, 2018 (Annexure P-14 colly.), but to no avail.
W.P.(C) 3507/2018 Page 1 of 22. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that RTI information was sought in respect of fate of petitioner's Representation, but without any success. Despite service of advance notice, there is no representation on behalf of respondents-College and School.
3. In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with direction to second respondent to ensure that petitioners' Representations/ Reminder (Annexure P-14 colly.) are duly considered by passing a speaking order thereon, within a period of six weeks from today and its fate be conveyed to petitioners within a week thereafter, so that petitioners may avail of the remedies as available in law, if need be.
4. With aforesaid directions, this petition and the application are disposed of.
Copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for the parties.
