1. Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred to challenge the legality and correctness of an order dated 30.09.2016 in case FIR No.942/14 registered under Sections 420/34 IPC at PS Rani Bagh whereby the permission to travel USA was declined. Status report / Additional Status report are on record.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. It is informed that after the registration of the FIR the petitioner has travelled abroad and has returned. The present petition for permission to travel abroad after getting bail has been filed.
3. Learned APP states that the documents filed by the petitioner has since been verified and found genuine. Charge-sheet has yet not been CRL.M.C. 3830/2016 Page 1 of 2 filed. The petitioner is a senior citizen and intends to visit his family members settled in USA. Telephone number of his son has been provided to facilitate his availability during his visit abroad.
4. In the interest of justice and to enable the petitioner to visit abroad to meet his family members, he is granted permission to travel from 25.04.2017 to 22.07.2017 on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `1 lac with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court subject to the condition that he shall furnish the detailed itinerary to the Investigating Officer. On return, he shall intimate the Investigating Agency / Trial Court within a week.
5. The petition stands disposed of.
