Petitioner claims to be a retrenched employee in Public Works Department. Now the retrenched employees are being adjusted on the daily rated basis in Public Works Department for which the application of the petitioner is pending before the authority concerned. However, no order has been passed.
In view of thereof, respondent No.3- Superintendent Engineer, PWD, Pithoragarh is hereby directed to consider the appointment of the petitioner on daily rated basis as is being given to be retrenched employee within a period of six weeks from the date of the production of certified copy of the order.
The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
