The petitioner has challenged the order dated April 12, 2010 passed by the Employees' Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal whereunder it has been held liable to pay a sum of ` 1,85,933/- on account of late deposit of the Employees' Provident Fund contribution. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that out of this sum of ` 1,85,933/-, ` 65,933/- have already been paid in cash and prays that for the balance, the petitioner be granted time to pay in installments. In view of the above, the petitioner is granted time to pay the balance amount of ` 1,20,000/- within a period of three months in three equal installments.
With this direction, the writ-petition is disposed of.
