JUDGMENT Madan B. Lokur, J.
1.The Respondents in this case are working as Senior Operators, Operators and Assistant Operators in Hot Mix Plant in the Auto Workshop Wing of NDMC. Since employees of the Auto Workshop have already been given the benefit of SSC pay scales in Narendra Kumar and Another vs. Dharam Dutt and Another, 1993 Supp (3) SCC 205, there is no reason to place the Respondents in this case in a different category.
2. Under the circumstances, it is held that all Senior Operators, Operators and Assistant Operators in a hot mix plant are entitled to the benefit of SSC pay scales with effect from 1st April,1998.
3. The Respondents will be entitled to costs of Rs.1,000/- each.
