1. This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for the following reliefs:-

"i. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner and release the payment of Rs.54,00,073/- with interest of 12% per annum in favor of the petitioner. ii. That, any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper may also kindly be granted to the petitioner in the interest of justice along with cost of the petition."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in connection with the inauguration program of the newly constructed Hostel Ashram building run by the State, the respondent Authorities issued a work order in favour of the petitioner on 01.08.2024 vide Annexure-P/2 for catering services, tenting for the dining and kitchen areas, light and sound work etc. Counsel submits that the said program was successfully completed, and the petitioner subsequently submitted a bill for Rs. 54,00,073/- dated 07.08.2024 (Annexure-P/3) to the respondent Authorities for the total work performed. However, despite a lapse of more than one and a half years, the bill payment has not been released to the petitioner. Further, the petitioner has submitted two representations on 23.07.2025 and 04.11.2025 (Annexure-P/5) to respondent No.2, however, his grievance has not been redressed. In view of such submissions, counsel prays that this petition may be disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the petitioner's representation within a stipulated period.
3. In reply, learned State counsel submits that he has no objection to allow the limited prayer of the petitioner and his representation will be decided within stipulated time.

Having considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, at this stage, this petition is 3 disposed of with a direction to Respondent No.2/Authority to decide the representations dated 23.07.2025 & 04.11.2025 (Annexure-P/5) within 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy/submission of this order. While deciding the petitioner's grievance, the respondent/Authority shall also consider that the subject bill amount has remained unpaid for more than one and a half years.
5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this petition stands disposed of.
