At the outset, learned counsel for the parties hand over a copy of a judgment of the Supreme Court dated May 19, 2022, wherein it is recorded that the Hon'ble Supreme Court hoped and expected that this Court shall hear and decide the proceeding immediately after the summer vacation, as directed.
In view of such observation and in due deference to the observation of the Supreme Court, 2 this matter is being fixed for day-to-day hearing from tomorrow.
Heard in part and the matter shall next be enlisted for further hearing tomorrow (05.07.2022) at
10. 30 a.m. An adjournment is sought at this juncture on the ground of the learned Senior Advocate appearing for the accused, that is, one Sk. Md. Anisur Rahaman.
However, since acute urgency has been expressed on behalf of the said accused on several occasions before several for a, particularly keeping in view the tenor of the order of the Supreme Court, as indicated above, such prayer for adjournment is refused.
