                    Mr. Siddhartha Lahiri
                    Mr. Tapan Bhanja
                               ... For the respondents no.1, 3 & 4

Ms. Chama Mookherji Ms. Sucharita Roy ... For the State Ms. Susmita Saha Dutta Mr. Niladri Saha ... For the respondent no.6 The matter was placed in the list at the instance of the Court for certain clarifications on the maintainability and jurisdictional issue, hearing on which issue was concluded on 24th September, 2021 in view of a very recent judgment of a Division Bench of Tripura High Court in W.A. No.183 of 2021 (Rekha Das v. Union of India & Ors.) reported in MANU/TR/0391/2021.

It is pointed out by the petitioner that despite this Court being in seisin of the matter, the Inquiry Committee 2 is proceeding with the enquiry on day-to-day basis. The hearing has taken place on 28th September, 2021 and on 30th September, 2021.

It is expected that till the judgment on the jurisdictional and maintainability point is delivered, the Inquiry Committee should not further proceed with the enquiry to render the writ petition infructuous.
