1. In view of the orders of this Court dated 6th May, 2026, 8th May, 2026 and 15th May, 2026, sufficient time was granted to the concerned Respondents to present their response. However, even today, no reply or affidavit has been filed on behalf of the concerned authorities.

2. In the aforesaid circumstances, Respondent No.3 shall remain personally present before this Court on the next date of hearing.
3. This will not preclude the concerned respondent from filing an affidavit placing on record the status report/action taken report, inter alia, indicating: (i) present conditions of the monuments;
(ii) the proposed measures for conservation of such sites; (iii) the financial allocation and sanctioned budget for the said purpose; and
(iv) time frame ensuring the completion of works and steps taken from time to time in that regard along with the designated authority, responsible for the implementation of these directions.
4. The aforesaid status report/action taken report shall be accompanied by a comprehensive affidavit of the concerned authority and shall be filed before the next date of hearing.
5. Stand over to 18th June, 2026, to be listed 'High on Board'.
6. Apart from the above, further compliance affidavit shall be filed at periodic intervals of every two months, indicating the progress, till completion of the proposed measures.
