2. Issue notice to the respondent.
3. The incident in question had occurred on 24 th December,
2024. The FIR in question is filed on 27 th February, 2026 under
Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. The FIR was filed
by father of the deceased who met with an unfortunate accident on
24th December, 2024. I have perused the FIR. On bare reading of the
FIR, none of the provisions of Section 108 are prima facie attracted in
the present case. The gross delay is also unexplained. In this premise,
the following order is passed.
ORDER
(i) In the event of her arrest, applicant - Meghna Kashinath Sawant @ Snehal, shall be released on bail, in C.R.No.216/2026 registered with Kalyan Railway Police Station under Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, on furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.
4. Stand over to 17th June, 2026.
