DATED : SEPTEMBER 27, 2017 ORAL JUDGMENT [PER SMT. V.K.TAHILRAMANI, J.]: 1 Heard the learned counsel for both sides. The appellant and respondent are present before us. The appellant and respondent had already tendered consent terms which were filed in this Court on 31.3.2017. By order dated 31.3.2017, this Court allowed the appeal to be converted into a petition for divorce by mutual consent. 2 The appellant and the respondent state that they have gone through the consent terms and they have voluntarily 1 of 2 ::: Uploaded on - 28/09/2017 ::: Downloaded on - 29/09/2017 01:43:06 ::: jdk 2 19.fcast.6676.17.doc signed the said consent terms. Both the appellant and the respondent state that the consent terms have been complied with except paragraph 6 thereof in which, it is stated that the appellant shall pay an amount of Rs. 6 lakhs by Demand Draft to the respondent. Today, the Demand Draft in the sum of Rs. 6 lakhs bearing No. 389141 dated 10.7.2017 drawn on Union Bank, Fergussan College Road, Pune is handed over to the respondent and she confirms having received the same. It is stated that as far as the criminal case which she had filed against the appellant and his family members is concerned, the same has been quashed with the consent of the respondent. 3 In view of the consent terms, marriage between the parties is dissolved by mutual consent. Undertakings given by the parties are accepted. This Family Court Appeal is disposed of in terms of consent terms. Decree be drawn up accordingly.
