 ORAL JUDGMENT : 

The learned counsel for the appellant has placed on record an application for compounding of offence under section 324 of Indian Penal Code, which application is sworn by both the appellant and the complainant Eknath Mohurle. The application for compounding the offence states that the victim Eknath Mohurle and the appellant Gulab Gavture have had cordial relationship since the incident and the victim ::: Uploaded on - 03/10/2017 ::: Downloaded on - 05/10/2017 01:53:52 ::: 2 apeal639of2002 is withdrawing all allegations levelled against the appellant Gulab. 2 I do not see any impediment in permitting the appellant Gulab Narayan Gavture and the complainant / victim Eknath Mohurle to compound the offence punishable under section 325 of Indian Penal Code.

3 The criminal application __________ of 2017 is allowed. 4 The appellant and victim / complainant Eknath Mohurle are permitted to compound the offence.

5 In view of the permission to compound the offence, the conviction under section 324 of Indian Penal Code is set aside.

 6                 Appeal is disposed of.
