ORAL JUDGMENT :

1. Heard.

2. The petitioner-Corporation has challenged the award passed by the Central Government Industrial Tribunal concluding that 672 employees out of 2145 employees on whose behalf the Union agitated the claim are entitled for wages equal to the salary at the lowest grade of their cadre for the period from 7th January, 1993 till the date of retrenchment. The list of these 672 employees is Annexure- B to the award.

The same award came to be challenged by the Union in Writ Petition No.5365 of 2012. The Union claimed that services of 2145 employees on whose behalf the Union prosecuted the matter, have to be regularized and all the 2145 employees are entitled for the benefits of permanency in service.

Writ Petition No. 5365 of 2012 is decided by the judgment delivered on 30th March, 2017 i.e. today. ::: Uploaded on - 11/04/2017 ::: Downloaded on - 27/08/2017 21:29:52 :::
