1. Heard both sides.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he had preferred an application for furlough on 21.6.2016. Though he had preferred the application in the month of June 2016 and the police report was received, no decision has been taken on his application for furlough.

Learned APP states on instructions that the application of the petitioner for furlough was granted by order dated 7.6.2017 and pursuant thereto, he has been ordered to be released on furlough for a period of 28 days. In this view of the matter, nothing survives in this petition. The same is disposed of as infructuous. Rule is discharged.
