ORAL JUDGMENT [PER SMT. V.K. TAHILRAMANI, A.C.J.] :

1. Heard both sides.

2. By order dated 5.10.2017 of this Court in Cri. Writ Petition No. 2370 of 2017, furlough leave was granted to the petitioner on certain terms and conditions for a period of 14 days. Pursuant thereto, the petitioner was released on furlough on 29.11.2017 for a period of 14 days. 2. CRI WP 5103-17.doc period of 14 days. In order to seek extension of furlough for a period of 14 days, the petitioner has relied upon two medical certificates. The first medical certificate is in relation to mother of the petitioner which shows that she has spinal problem and is required to undergo surgery. The second certificate dated 14.12.2017 shows that the petitioner is undergoing root canal treatment and bridge insertion is also found necessary for which he is undergoing treatment. The said procedure would take about 10 to 12 days.

3. In view of the medical certificates, we extend the furlough period for a further period of 14 days from 14.11.2017 on the same terms and conditions that the petitioner was released on furlough on 29.11.2017.

4. Rule is made absolute in the above terms.
