The above petition seeks a direction against the respondent for non-compliance of the order dated 3.2.2017 passed in Writ Petition No.4231 of 2016. In the said order dated 3.2.2017, statement of the learned APP that preliminary enquiry into the allegations made in the said complaint would be made and appropriate action would be taken in accordance with law is recorded. It was further recorded that whatever decision is taken by the police , the same would be communicated to the petitioner. It seems that in spite of such assurance given to this Court, later part of the first paragraph of the said order dated 3.2.2017 namely, i.e., the decision would be communicated to the petitioner has not been complied with by the respondent. The learned APP on instructions of the investigating officer, API, Mr. Satishchandra Rathod attached to Shivaji Nagar Police Station, Govandi, Mumbai states that the reply would be sent to the petitioner within one week from date. Statement is accepted. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
