By this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the appointment of the respondent no.3 as Municipal Commissioner, Akola Municipal Corporation, on deputation.
Though initially this Court had granted interim relief, the interim order was vacated on 5/3/2007. Since the respondent no.3 was posted as Municipal Commissioner, Akola Municipal Corporation only on deputation, the respondent no.3 must not be holding the said post in the year 2016, as the appointment on deputation was made in the year 2006.
Since the cause for filing the writ petition is rendered infructuous due to passage of time, we dismiss the writ petition with no order as to costs. Rule stands discharged.
