ORAL JUDGMENT :

1. Rule. Heard finally with consent of the parties.

2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 1.8.2016 passed by the Additional Commissioner refusing to stay the order of disqualification passed by the Collector dated 22.6.2016. This Court, by order dated ::: Uploaded on - 26/10/2016 ::: Downloaded on - 27/10/2016 00:57:03 ::: owp.4721.16 2 24.8.2016 directed the respondent no.4 to decide the Appeal within a period of eight weeks from the said date.

3. Shri J.Y. Ghurde, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent no.1, 2 and 4, on instructions, submits that the Appeal is now fixed for hearing on 16th November, 2016 and the same shall be decided by the end of November, 2016.

4. Considering the earlier directions issued, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no.4 to decide the Appeal by the end of November, 2016. Needless to add, that the order of status quo granted on 24.8.2016 shall continue to operate till the Appeal is decided. However, the respondent no.4 shall not be influenced by this interim arrangement.

Rule is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No costs.
