The Court made the following ORDER:

This Criminal Petition under Section 438 of Cr.P.C., is filed seeking to enlarge the petitioner/Accused No.2 on anticipatory bail in Crime No.82/2024 of Hindupur I Town Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District, erstwhile Ananthapur District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 324, 384 read with 34 of IPC.

2. Heard Sri P. Narahari Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner/Accused No.2 and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State.

3. Perused the record. On 07.4.2024 Crime No.82/2024 of Hindupur I Town Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District, erstwhile Anantapur District was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 324, 384 read with 34 of IPC. The petitioner/Accused No.2 alleged to have committed those offences. Having heard both sides it is seen that all the offences are punishable with imprisonment of 07 years and less than 07 years. It is, in these circumstances, investigating Police are directed to comply with Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and all the directions given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the judgment in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar and Another1 related rulings.

4. With these observations, the anticipatory bail application is 'disposed of'.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in the Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
