WRIT PETITION NO.22919 of 2021
ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Women and Child Welfare appearing for the respondents.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that in W.P.No.31374 of 2015 and batch, similar question was arose and the same was decided. The recruitment notification challenged in that batch of writ petitions were set aside by directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for appointment/promotion as Anganwadi Workers in their respective villages subject to their eligibility and suitability in the existing vacancies of the respective villages.
3. In line with the judgment in W.P.No.31374 of 2015 and batch and as the same has become final and after hearing the learned Government Pleader for Women and Child Welfare, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment/promotion as Anganwadi Worker in respect of her village, subject to her eligibility and suitability in the existing vacancy.
4. The notification, dated 29.09.2021, is suspended till the case of the petitioner is being considered and if the petitioner is not eligible, subsequent action can be taken under the said notification.

5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
