Also heard Mr. Sai Gangadhar Chamarty, learned counsel for the respondent.

2. On the request of the learned counsel for the parties, this writ appeal is taken up for consideration.

3. This writ appeal is directed against an order dated 03.11.2017 passed by the learned single Judge in W.P.No.30653 of 2017.

4. By the order impugned in the appeal, the learned single Judge set aside the order dated 23.09.2016 and directed the respondent No.3 to 2 consider the case of the writ petitioner, respondent herein, for appointment on compassionate ground.

5. The father of the petitioner was a Junior Lineman and he went missing on 03.04.2000 and an F.I.R. was lodged in that connection on 13.06.2001. The application filed by the petitioner on 20.12.2013 for appointment on compassionate ground was rejected by the order dated 23.09.2016 primarily on the grounds that within the prescribed period of 7 years from filing of the F.I.R. no application was made and during that time, the petitioner was a minor.

6. Learned counsel for the parties submit that in compliance of the order of the learned single Judge dated 03.11.2017, the respondent/writ petitioner was issued an appointment order vide Memo dated 26.11.2020 subject to outcome of the writ appeal and, accordingly, she had joined duty on 02.12.2020.

7. The order of the learned single Judge was complied with after about 3 years with a rider that the appointment issued is subject to result of the writ appeal. Based on such appointment order of the respondent/writ petitioner, it is stated that the contempt application filed earlier was also closed on 27.11.2020.

8. In the aforesaid background, we are of the opinion that no interference is called for with regard to the order under challenge.

9. Accordingly, the writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
