Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being left open, the said respondent shall endeavour to dispose of the pending matter pursuant to the order of remand dated 9 June 2016 with expedition and preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
