No counter affidavit has been filed, whereas vide order dated 17.03.2016, learned counsel for the opposite parties were granted two weeks' time for filing the counter affidavit.
In the interest of justice, four weeks' further time and no more is granted to the learned counsel for the Chancellor, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, failing which, the Registrar of the University will appear before this Court on 21.05.2018 along with record for assistance and also show cause as to why the counter affidavit has not been filed till date.
