1. This petition seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents not to harass the petitioner without there being a Criminal Case against the petitioner.
2. Shri Fazal Ahamed Khan, learned counsel for the State on the basis of instructions has given a statement that criminal proceedings were initiated. The investigation has been concluded. Final report has been prepared. Under the circumstances at this point in time there is no occasion for the police authority to approach the petitioner.
3. From the above, it is evident that cause of action does not survive.
4. The petition is disposed of.
