The Court has been orally informed that on the basis of the report of Additional District Magistrate about illegal drawal of electricity energy, F.I.R has been lodged.
The Court has been further informed that the supply of the electricity energy has been disconnected and appropriate action in terms of Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 shall be taken.
The matter shall be listed next on 17.5.2017, by which date the District Magistrate as well as the Executive Engineer, Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam, Ltd, Allahabad shall file their respective affidavits disclosing the status of the proceedings so taken.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to implead the Executive Engineer, Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam, Ltd, Allahabad, as respondent No.7 during the course of the day.
