Heard Sri Hari Pratap Gupta, learned counsel for the applicant, and Sri R. K. Maurya, learned AGA appearing for the State and perused the record.
The only prayer made by the applicant is that a direction be issued to the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Court No. 2, Mahrajganj, to decide the Sessions Trial No. 106 of 2014, under Sections 147, 148, 304, 307, 504, 506, IPC, arising out of Case Crime No. 197 of 2014, Police Station Kothibhar, District Mahrajganj, within a definite period.
It appears from the record that trial which is sought to be expedited is of year 2014.
The learned AGA opposed the prayer, and submitted that the two prosecution witnesses have already been examined by the trial court and the trial is in progress.
Considering the fact and circumstance of the case, there appears no good ground for expediting the trial, as the trial of the year 2014 and already in progress, and it is hope and trust that the trial court shall make all endeavor to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observation, the present application is disposed of finally.
